Students Experience the Heart of Spanish Culture
2016 Jul 18
Several students recently spent time in Spain as part of the university's Global Opportunities (GO) program. Centered in the city of Seville, Spanish Language and Culture gives students the opportunity to stay with host families while improving their Spanish language skills. Students have a variety of academic opportunities at their disposal, choosing from 300-level Spanish courses, a business course on the European union, a Psychology of Learning a Second Language course, and a Spanish for Health Professionals course. Meanwhile, they are immersed in all areas of the culture, including flamenco dance and Spanish cuisine, and explore religious and historical sites like the Cathedral and the Alcazar.
