2017 Apr 18

Rachel Baer has received a prestigious Fulbright U.S. Student Program award for an English Teaching Assistantship for the 2017-18 academic year. The U.S. Department of State and the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board made the award.

Recipients of Fulbright awards are selected on the basis of academic and professional achievement, as well as their records of service and leadership potential in their respective fields. The Fulbright U.S. Student Program offers fellowships for U.S. graduating college seniors, graduate students, young professionals and artists to study, conduct research, and/or teach English abroad. The program currently operates in more than 140 countries. Since its inception in 1946, the Fulbright Program has provided more than 370,000 participants with the opportunity to exchange ideas and contribute to finding solutions to shared international concerns.
