Cheaney Seiler Received Arthur Scholarship

Cheaney Seiler recently received the Douglas and Lucille Arthur Scholarship at Susquehanna University. In awarding the scholarship, preference is given to students from Dauphin County, Pa.

The Arthurs established the scholarship in 1987 as an expression of their commitment to Susquehanna University and the opportunities it provides young men and women. The late Douglas Arthur was a 1949 graduate of Susquehanna University and gave more than 30 years of dedicated service to Susquehanna's board of directors. His widow, Lucille, funded the construction of Arthur Plaza on the Susquehanna campus in his honor to celebrate and encourage philanthropic support for the university.

Seiler, of Halifax, Pa. , is a biology major in the Class of 2018. Seiler is a 2014 graduate of Halifax Area High School and the son of Jeff and Amy Seiler .
