Gottlieb Helps Change Lives in the Philippines

Benjamin Gottlieb, of Easton, Pa., was one of six students from Susquehanna University who recently spent two weeks in the Philippines as part of the university's Global Opportunities (GO) program.

The PLUS (Philippines: Learning, Understanding, and Service) program utilizes education, service and recreation to immerse students in Filipino culture. Through fundraising and volunteer work, students were able to provide food, medicine and shelter to people in the provinces of Batangas and Cavite.
