Jefferson Township High School Graduate Earns Susquehanna University Assistantship

Alexis Bishop, of Oak Ridge, N.J., was awarded an assistantship at Susquehanna University for the 2014-15 academic year. Assistantships are competitive, merit-based scholarships, in which recipients gain professional work experience by working closely with a faculty or administrative staff member throughout their years at Susquehanna.

Bishop, a member of the Class of 2018, is a political science major working with Brent Papson, interim director of the Office of Student Activities.

Bishop, a 2012 graduate of Jefferson Township High School, is the daughter of Thomas and Jennifer Bishop.
