Jones Presents Research at Regional Symposium

Elizabeth Jones presented research at the sixth annual Susquehanna Valley Undergraduate Research Symposium on July 27. This year the symposium was held at Bloomsburg University.

Jones's research, conducted with Post-doctoral Teaching Fellow Sarah Cassella, Associate Professor of Biology Erin Keen-Rhinehart and another student , concerned the impact of prenatal stress on microglia in the hippocampus and prefrontal cortex.

The symposium allows students from across central Pennsylvania to come together to share presentations on research from a variety of disciplines. The event is sponsored by Bloomsburg University, Bucknell Institute for Public Policy, Geisinger Health System and Susquehanna University.
