Jones Shares Research at Landmark Conference Symposium

2016 Aug 30

Elizabeth Jones presented research conducted with Post-doctoral Teaching Fellow Sarah Cassella, Associate Professor of Biology Erin Keen-Rhinehart and another student concerning the impact of prenatal stress on microglia in the hippocampus and prefrontal cortex.

Students from Susquehanna were joined at the symposium by peers from Moravian, Goucher, Elizabethtown and Juniata colleges and Drew University -all schools in the Landmark Athletic Conference. This year, the symposium featured 23 oral presentations and 65 poster presentations on a variety of research, in such areas as physics, biochemistry, biology, ecology, environmental science, mathematics, history, economics and computer science. The symposium is one way the Landmark Conference promotes relationships between its schools outside of athletics.
