Leboffe Interns at Geisinger Clinic

Emily Leboffe, of Morris, N.Y., is serving an internship this summer at Geisinger Clinic.

Leboffe's responsibilities include working in a laboratory at the Weis Center for Research, where she will study the molecular and genetic basis of disease. Through the course of this hands-on research experience, Leboffe will not only improve her laboratory, communication and collaboration skills but also gain first-hand experience in a biomedical research facility as she determines her own future in the sciences.

Leboffe is a biology major in the Class of 2017. A 2013 graduate of Morris Central High School, she is the daughter of Thomas and Wendy Leboffe.
