Christina Martin, of Harrisburg, Pa. , has been elected as a class senator to the Student Government Association (SGA) for the 2014-15 academic year.

The SGA is a representative student organization that ensures an active student voice and role in governing the university. The Student Senate, the legislative branch of the association, provides a forum for student opinions. It deals with matters of concern to the entire student body and seeks solutions to campus issues. SGA representatives serve on university committees and boards to promote communication and cooperation among students, faculty and the administration.
