Mitchell To Serve on Newspaper Editorial Board

Jessica Mitchell has been selected to the editorial board of SU's student newspaper, a weekly publication distributed on Fridays during the academic year. Mitchell will serve as managing editor of content for the 2016-17 academic year.

The newspaper staff consists of students from a variety of majors. Staff duties include writing and editing articles, taking photographs, assisting with layout and production, updating the online version and seeking advertisers.

The newspaper has won awards from The Society for Collegiate Journalists, including recognition for its front-page layout, sports columns, sports features, feature photography, editorials and online version.
