Stein Presents Research at Regional Symposium

Aviel Stein presented research at the sixth annual Susquehanna Valley Undergraduate Research Symposium on July 27. This year the symposium was held at Bloomsburg University.

Stein's research, conducted with Associate Professor of Mathematical Sciences Toshiro Kubota, concerned the improvement of analytical methods used to estimate the depth of shallow water.

The symposium allows students from across central Pennsylvania to come together to share presentations on research from a variety of disciplines. The event is sponsored by Bloomsburg University, Bucknell Institute for Public Policy, Geisinger Health System and Susquehanna University.
