Tucker Helps Stage Fall Musical at Susquehanna University

Ariel Tucker, of Sunbury, Pa. , was a member of the production staff in Susquehanna University's fall musical Guys and Dolls, presented by the Department of Theatre Oct. 30-Nov. 2.

Guys and Dolls is a romantic comedy based on the book by Jo Swerling and Abe Burrows. It is a story of rolling the dice and falling in love under the lights of Broadway, following characters such as gamblers Nathan Detroit and Sky Materson, nightclub performer Adelaide and straight-laced missionary Sarah Brown.

The play ran for 1,200 performances since first opening on Broadway in 1950, and has earned numerous TONY, Drama Desk and Laurence Olivier awards.

Tucker, a theatre major in the Class of 2015, served as wardrobe supervisor and part of the wardrobe staff. She is a 2010 graduate of Shikellamy High School.
