Susquehanna, a liberal arts university, focuses on intellectual development, global competence and career success. We offer a nationally recognized study abroad program and more than 100 majors and minors in business, humanities, arts and sciences. Students develop critical thinking, writing, teamwork and communication skills which, combined with internships and research opportunities, prepare them for a lifetime of personal and professional success. Small classes enable faculty members to serve as mentors, as well as teachers. Ninety-six percent of Susquehanna students are employed or in graduate or professional school within six months of graduation.

Students Attend NATS Eastern Region Conference
Susquehanna students recently attended the National Association for Teachers of Singing (NATS) Eastern Region Conference and Student Auditions. Founded in 1944, NATS is the largest professional organization of vocal teachers in the world, with more than 7,000 members in the United States, Canada and nearly 30 other countries. The Allegheny Mountain Chapter Student Auditions were held on Nov. 14 at Susquehanna University. The national semi-finals and finals are scheduled for July 9 and 10 in Chicago.

Students Present Research at National Conference
Thirty-one Susquehanna University students recently presented research at the 30th Annual National Conference on Undergraduate Research at Asheville, N.C. Established in 1987, the conference is dedicated to promoting undergraduate research and scholarship done in partnership with faculty or other mentors. The annual conference has become a national celebration of undergraduate scholarly activity involving all academic disciplines and all institutions of higher education.
